“Cloud-stacking” is a creative long exposure technique that combines interval timer capture with layer blending in Photoshop to create amazing composite images that illustrate the passing of time. Unlike traditional long-exposure photographs, you don’t need any filters or special accessories to produce a cloud-stack, just your camera, tripod, and an intervalometer. In this video tutorial, I will clearly demonstrate the techniques for capturing and processing cloud-stack images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. In addition to the video itself, you’ll also receive a printable PDF of the presentation notes to help you follow along with the tutorial.
